Nairn Highland Games 

Saturday 16th August, starts at 9.30am

A free event featuring highland dancing, athletics and the spectacular Massed Pipes and Drums marching through the town around midday.

Competitors will be going all out to win the Cuach na Cuiridh, the Cup of the Strong Man, which is presented to the overall winner of the heavy events.

Battlefield Band, Universal Hall, Findhorn

Sunday 17th August, 7.30pm

Named after the ‘Battlefield’ area of Glasgow, this Scottish band have now been touring & performing throughout the world for over forty years with their inspired fusion of ancient and modern traditional music and song.

Pirate Day, Scottish Dolphin Centre, Spey Bay

Sunday 17th August from 10.30am to 4.30pm

Find ye loot on the treasure hunt, walk the plank or end up in Davy Jone’s Locker! Ye must dress like a pirate to enter ye best dressed competition!

An action packed day of pirate antics. No booking necessary. Children must be accompanied with an adult. To enter the best dressed competition you must arrive in fancy dress. Call 01343 820339 for more details.
