The Mill House Hotel and Restaurant has a unique blend of old and new offering something unique in the local area. A reputation for high quality food and attentive service has quickly made the Mill House a favourite with both locals and visitors. Recent repeat guests have included The First Minister, Stars from Emmerdale and players from Rangers FC.
The hotel had a major renovation back in 2010, and our aim is to keep the building, decor and menus fresh and up to date on an annual basis. The continual improvments are core to the owners ethos in the business moving forward ahead of the competition. The 16 bedrooms in particular have been furnished to a high standard and the comfortable bar is a great place to relax after dining in any of the three dining rooms. The menus and quality food are prepared by the chefs from Moray's No1 seafood restaurant The 1629, our head chef John Paul has gained rave reviews from regulars and the local press. Our menus are changing all the time, have look at our recent exciting new menu, our special boards change weekly with a fantastic selection of seafood, steaks and tradional scottish dishes. All our ingredients are sourced locally where possible.
The venue also offers excellent facilities for all sizes of corporate events, meetings, functions and weddings catering for parties from 30 up to 300.
The restaurant is open 12-2 and 5.30-9.15. Open 7 days a week for bar lunches, afternoon tea and coffees with a choice of supper or a la carte dining in the evenings,our popular Sunday Carvery is served all day sunday every week.
The hotel is on the main A98 Fochabers to Buckie road, the hotel is the perfect location for the whisky, coastal and castle trails in the north-east of Scotland.
