WELLBEING LIVING AT FOURNET HOUSE
We are just in the process of building anew website and the domain name is www.fournethouse.co.uk. You will be redirected though to our old webiste www.noahsarkbistro.co.uk which cannot be altered. We trust our new site will be up and running as soon as possible and look forward to seeing you all at Fournet.
Fournet House is one of Dufftown's oldest buildings and must originally have been a very grand property. Purpose built around 1890, it is named after St. Andrew Fournet who cared for so many people in France during the18th & 19th century.
But years of neglect, and layer after layer of lurid green paint could not disguise its classical proportions, lovely cornices and beautiful staircase. Now after over a year and a half and a renovation which varied from unexpectedly major to sympathetically minor needing a massive input of elbow grease at every stage and pounds of hard work, Fournet House sparkles again, alive with colour and warmth to welcome and care for people with the same passion and intensity in the 21 st century as is humanely possible.
Now, the whole of the top floor will be converted into accommodation and guests are invited to enjoy the twin bedded room with its own bathroom up to the 20th January and after that date, the single room with a four feet six bed, or a king sized double bedded room, again with its own bathroom. There will also be a four poster bed to enjoy in the smaller bedroom on the first floor which is very close to the shower room
Please do not hesitate to ask if you need anything or need information, the accent here is laid-back enjoyment for you and if there is washing that needs to be done or clothes that need drying, then we will be delighted to help out.
