1. Why

The Greater Speyside website aims to provide interesting and up to date information for locals and visitors staying in the Moray and Speyside area on their holidays or for weekends away. It is managed by Tuminds Social Media. It has recently been going through a period of development to make the site more current and user friendly – and ultimately drive traffic to the listed businesses. This work is ongoing.

The area offers a wide range of attractions, events and activities combined with beautiful scenery. The area we promote runs from Inverness along the Moray Coast to Pennan, bordering Boat of Garten, Tomintoul and Kildrummy until it reaches Dalwhinnie in the south. gets over 100,000 hits a year from people all over the world, and we’re on page one of Google search for the following popular key words/phrases:

  • Speyside
  • Speyside accommodation
  • Speyside events
  • Moray events
  • Things to do in Speyside
  • and many more important key phrases.

2. Get your free listing

All tourism businesses in this area receive a FREE basic listing on, complete with:

  • One photo
  • Description
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Email address

We’ve updated the system so that people with multiple business entries can edit them all with just one login. These changes will also be reflected on

3. Edit an existing entry as owner/manager

If you already have an entry, you can log in to update your details and change your photo.

Go to

Log in using your email address and password. Use the link at the bottom of the page if you have forgotten your password.

Now you can edit your details, don’t forget to save it when you are ready.

4. Boosting your listing

You can choose to boost your free entry on to help direct more business your way.

Upgraded Listing

You get everything in the free listing, plus:

  • Four extra photos (5 in total)
  • Your listing displayed first above the basic listings (all upgraded listings are rotated on a random basis so different ones are at the top)
  • Web link and online booking system link direct to your own website instead of an affiliate
  • Monthly newsletter from with website statistics
  • Promotion by GreaterSpeyside on social media
  • Links to your Facebook, Twitter and TripAdvisor pages

The price for an upgraded listing is £15 pcm, with a minimum term of six months.

Promoted Entry

The promoted entry is the same as the upgraded entry, but with the added bonus of being among the top three businesses listed in your category at all times. For example, if you own a hotel and pay for a promoted entry, your business will be in the top three hotels seen by any users clicking on the ‘Accommodation’ link.

The price for a promoted entry is £25 pcm, with a minimum term of one month. These slots will be sold on a first come, first serve basis and are subject to availability.

5. Advertising on

We have a range of box and banner advertising available.

There are six static box advert opportunities on These are shown on the sidebar of the home page and through all the pages of the site.

Banner adverts on specific pages

Your banner ad can be featured on specific pages like The Malt Whisky TrailThe Speyside Way, and Golf in Greater Speyside, if you wish to promote your business in conjunction with these activities.

6. Sponsored editorial

We also have sponsored editorial opportunities for larger businesses. For £450, one of our writers will visit your business, get a real flavour for what’s on offer, and write a blog post about their experience.
