acolool Ingredients

4 x 10oz sirloin steaks (1.5 inch thick)

Half Cup Soy Sauce

Half Cup packed brown sugar

1 clove garlic (minced)

1 teaspoon freshly grated gingerroot

1 green onion, white and green parts minced

Half Cup Fine Malt Whisky (Aberlour 10yr is perfect)

Method

Place steaks in a non-metallic dish and pour the whisky over them. Turn to coat. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 8 hours.

Preheat grill for high heat. Brush grate with oil and arrange steaks over the heat. Cook for 6 - 10 minutes. Turn and cook until done to your liking (probably another 6 - 10 minutes)
