(redirected from Main.Moray)

Moray is one of the most ancient and famous names in Scotland and was at a time ruled by Macbeth the Duke of Moray. Not simply a product of Shakespeare’s active imagination, Macbeth was indeed Mormaer or Duke of Moray, a powerful figure who became King of Scotland.

The area is well served by roads with all of the towns being easily accessible via the A9 from Perth or the A96 from Aberdeen. The airports of Inverness and Aberdeen are both within easy reach and there are excellent rail services with stations at Forres, Elgin and Keith which connect to the mainline terminal at Inverness and Aberdeen.
