Leanchoil Hospital is a UK National Health Service hospital in Forres. It is administered by the NHS Grampian region.
Leanchoil Hospital was built in 1892 (thanks to a legacy of £9000 from Donald Smith ) to serve the population of Forres and the surrounding area. The hospital has 23 beds providing medical care, rehabilitation, assessment, palliative/terminal care, convalescence and respite care. Most of the beds are in 6 bedded rooms, but the hospital has 4 single and 2 twin bedded rooms and a palliative care suite. There is also a minor injuries/casualty department.
