26th – 28th September 2014
If you’re wondering what’s on in the area, here are a few events taking place this weekend in Greater Speyside. There are, of course, lots of other things to do in the region – our blogs contain loads of ideas.
This is the first year of this festival, and it looks set to be a corker. Running Wednesday to Sunday, there are events of all types running every day, from theatre to nature to music to automation. It’s definitely worth checking their programme – something for everyone.
We’ve been going on about this for weeks, so hopefully it will come as no surprise that there is a whisky festival taking place in and around Dufftown this weekend. If you’re not sure which Speyside whisky is your favourite, this is the place to find out!
Sunday 28th September
Breathe a sigh of relief – entries are now closed for this event. However you can watch and cheer as others suffer in the UK’s most scenic marathon along the shores of Loch Ness, or watch the shorter distance 10k, 5k and Wee Nessie races in Inverness.
